Atlanta VA HOSPITAL

SSD was contracted to perform site preparation, asbestos abatement, and complete demolition of the four-story Hospital Building at the Atlanta VA Hospital. Demolition of the 95,000 SF building was completed in September of 2022. Careful coordination, design, and protective measures were implemented to protect the newly completed adjacent CHP Building (12-inches away from building to be demolished) from damage during demolition. Upon completion of demolition, the site was graded for future use as a green space until future construction begins under a separate project.
