Description: The upgrade and expansion of Little River WRF is being done to accommodate the rapid growth in North Fulton County and its surrounding communities. SSD’s scope of work includes the demolition of 4 below-grade structures, 10 treatment structures, an administration building and 5 biological treatment tanks. Site demolition included the removal of 50,000 square feet of asphalt and other miscellaneous improvements. Upon completion, the facility will treat more water at less cost and produce cleaner water to reintroduce into Little River.
