Delta Sky Club – Concourse D Widening

This project added a third level to Concourse D expanding the existing Concourse by 20,000 SF and creating a third level. The new Delta Sky Club included funding as part of the $1.4 billion widening of Concourse D at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. SSD Contracting’s role was to demolish a portion of the Concourse and once the third level Sky Club structure was erected and dried in. SSD demolished the existing Concourse roof from inside the new structure. Our new state-of-the-art Brokk 300 was used to demolish the concrete structure ensuring a safe demolition conditions for our crew members to work while debris fell to the Boarding level.
